The Crew
S & W fishing guides are multi-species anglers who regularly target Walleye, Bass, Northern, Muskie and Panfish. Tim Edinger, Butch Blasing, and Nate Blasing are the three in house guides. Tim, Butch, and Nate have become known as some of the finest fishing guides in the Brainerd Lakes Area. We currently fish on Gull Lake, Whitefish Chain, Northlong Lake, Mille Lacs Lake, Round Lake, as well as other Brainerd Area Lakes.
Tim Edinger
Tim’s an avid multi-species fisherman who is comfortable fishing Walleyes on Gull Lake, Northerns, Muskies, Bass, and Panfish. When fish get tough to find, Tim always seems to be able to find their hiding places. Tim has taught middle school science for 24 years which serves him well guiding guests of all ages. Tim has also been a Brainerd fishing guide for over 15 years.
Butch Blasing
Butch has over 35 years of fishing experience and started as a fishing guide in Brainerd in 1993. Butch guides for all species but really enjoys chasing the elusive Gull Lake walleye. Butch has earn the reputation of being one of the best walleye guides in the Brainerd area.
Nate Blasing
Nate’ s been fishing since he could walk and still takes every opportunity he can to fish. Nate guides for all species but has a special place in his heart for huge walleyes. Nate has been guiding in the Brainerd lakes area for over 7 years. His favor guide trips for clients include walleye fishing on Gull Lake and Mille Lacs.
